The Nine Omens of Anár is a concept album that fuses dark mythology, Celtic influences, and epic power metal into a single, cohesive saga. With this work, RATLEHOLE deliver an album that is at once heavy, atmospheric, and rich with storytelling.

The Nine Omens of Anár tells a tale of rise, betrayal, and the inevitable downfall of a realm ensnared by ancient omens. Each act brings the end closer, until only legends remain to speak of the kingdom and its fallen.

• Omen ONE: Ashes Upon the Shore
  It begins on the storm-lashed shores of Anár. Here lie the ashes of fallen warriors — their names forgotten, their souls unrested. A whisper in the wind foretells that ancient sins will return to these shores.
• Omen TWO: The Tongue That Spoke in Stone
  Deep within the land stands an ancient stone, carved with words long lost to time. A seeker discovers it — and the knowledge awakened within unleashes a prophecy that will seal Anár’s fate.
• Omen THREE: A Crown of Antlers
  The prophecy demands a new leader: a young warrior rises to face the trial to bear the crown of antlers. But with the crown comes not only power, but madness and sacrifice.
• Omen FOUR: Beneath the Weeping Tree
  Beneath an ancient weeping tree, the chosen one swears loyalty and love. Yet old promises shatter as the dark power of the omens isolates him. In a moment of silence, love fades — and only the tree keeps the secret.
• Omen FIVE: The Black Bard of Ulster
  A banished bard returns. With songs woven with hidden truths, he exposes lies, betrayal, and forbidden pacts. His music shakes the courts of Anár — a king falls, and chaos erupts.
• Omen SIX: Where the Ravens Gather Flame
  Ravens gather over the battlefields — an ominous sign. The people of Anár prepare for war. Fire lights the skies as brother turns against brother and the land is consumed by flames.
• Omen SEVEN: The Hollow Throne
  Amid the ruins stands an empty throne. No heir dares to claim it. Powerless lords fight over ashes, while the few survivors realize: no ruler will ever save Anár.
• Omen EIGHT: The Mourning Bell of Anár
  Anár’s bell tolls one final time. Its sound carries mourning through abandoned towns and burning fields. The people understand: the eighth omen is fulfilled, and the final fall is near.
• Omen NINE: Anár’s End
  The final battle begins. Nine chosen ones — warriors, seers, traitors — step forward to seal the end. One by one they fall. With the last strike, the bell falls silent, the throne shatters — and Anár sinks into silence.
